So I totally created this blog over a year ago and am finally posting something! Though I have nothing particularly exciting to report, I though I could introduce myself to the blogging world a little. I am 24 years old and have the best husband and the cutest little boy ever (I'm probably a little biased). I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in April of 2009 with a degree and certification in Elementary Education and Brett recently graduated in April 2010 with a History major and a Business minor. We are currently in Farmington, NM where Brett is working with his dad at Lillywhite Stone, LLC (they sell boulders, gravel,etc...) which is right outside my front door. The plan is for Brett to take over whenever his dad retires some time in the future but Brett is also looking into something else. We are pretty much in that group of people who are done with school but not quite sure what is the best path, so we are keeping our options open (some of you may be in that same boat).
My day to day life is pretty routine. I go to the gym when Ethan and I are healthy and Ethan doesn't cry too long at the little day care, have play-dates with Heather and Travis Farnsworth who are great, go swimming, go to a park, mall walk (and sometimes shop:), go to the children's museum which has a free toddler area, go to the library (my favorite thing about Farmington, yes I know I'm a nerd :), and visit the in-laws, and run errands to name a few. Also, I often go to Texas to visit my family there with Ethan. The hardest thing about being here is being so far from family in Texas and my other awesome friends that are spread all over now.
I actually just got back from a 3week trip to Texas. The first week was the best since Brett got to be there. I will post some of my favorite pics later. While we were there Ethan started saying thank you and Pop, short for Poppy which is my dad's name for the grand kids. Ethan's other favorites are: Uh-oh, wall, ball, cracker, cookie, bye-bye, mama and dada.He also says or tries to say: Ow, bubbles, yay, oh-no,and I think he said Texas once and I was so proud:) The pediatrician says he is behind on his language and set him up for speech therapy but ever since then he has been starting to talk a lot more. Kids are so funny.
Well, thanks for being patient with me.In the future my posts won't be so long and I will endeavor to make sure the are fun to read. It was hard to start this because I wasn't sure anyone would really want to read it and because I felt so far behind, but I am starting now and even if no one wants to read it, at least it can count as my journal writing :)
Much love to all of my awesome friends,
Savannah

So Savannah made this blog sometime ago but never really did anything with it and since Nan is in Texas I have nothing to do tonight so I am giving this a try.
